Description
The role of a World Challenge leader is to facilitate the delivery of our programmes and to ensure that they are effective vehicles for the Challengers’ personal development. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of the programmes with support from World Challenge’s Operational Centre, extensive back-up and safety systems.
Many Leaders choose to work for World Challenge because they know our reputation for back-up and support. Whatever happens, wherever you are in the world, a team of specialists will stop at nothing to ensure you get help.
Expedition phases:
* Acclimatisation phase
* Main trekking phase
* Project phase (for most destinations)
* Rest and relaxation phase

Requirements
Minimum requirements:
* Experience of working with young people
* Travel experience of the developing world
* For expeditions going above the snow-line: Mountain Leader (Winter) Assessment or JSMEL (Winter)
* All levels of qualifications will be considered
