Description

Super Camps are running multi activity day camps for children aged 4 – 14 years. As the leading provider in this field, our fun packed camps are located in over 60 schools nationwide each offering excellent facilities! The Specialist Instructor will have specific skills and qualifications as a Lifeguard (NPLQ or NaRS) continually maintaining safety in and around the pool. They will also be expected to act as an Activity Instructor when not involved in specialist instruction. Reporting directly to Site Manager, description of responsibilities as follows:
 

- Adhere to processes and procedures whilst the children in your care continually have a fun, stimulating and safe time

- You will be expected to risk asses and manage poolside safety before, after and during all swim sessions

- Plan and deliver a variety of other activities with structure and enthusiasm; encouraging maximum participation

- Deliver a structured and enjoyable activity period during drop off and pick up time
Additional duties will include registering crews, cleaning and kit maintenance

Selection and Appointment process:

If your application form is short listed you will be contacted by our HR team who will speak to you further about your experiences. If selected, you will be required to complete an on-line test based on our online training programme. Following this you will be required to attend a Central Training Day (Based in Oxford, London or Birmingham). Finally before you start work you will need to attend your Site Specific Training and Set-up day (Located at school you will be working at – paid training day)
 
 
Pay: £285 - £335per week   
 
Hours: 8am – 5.30pm / 8.30am – 6.00pm (Monday to Friday). Flexible hours with hourly pay also structure considered
 
Temporary Contract (School holidays – part seasons considered)

Requirements

Requirements:

Relevant Lifeguard qualification (Lifeguard – NPLQ/NaRS) with experience in specialist area

Ideally qualified or studying towards a sports/coaching, creative, teaching/childcare qualification

Previous experience working with children

Enthusiastic and organised with excellent communication skills
Energetic and outgoing with good use of initiative
Flexible, team player willing to take on various tasks as required
