With a variety of client needs and facilities to care for, we are looking for two committed, enthusiastic individuals to join our team to support the Centre’s operation during the evenings, including on call during sleeping hours.  This is a full time seasonal role, working a shift pattern of week on, week off.

Requirements

Essential:
 ·         Valid 16 hour First Aid Certificate (Training available if required)
·         A mature attitude
·         An ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
·         Good customer service skills
·         Excellent communication skills with high level of interpersonal skills
·         Excellent customer service skills and understanding
·         Smart and Professional Appearance
·         The ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
·         Good attention to detail
·         Trustworthy, reliable and conscientious
·         Demonstrate tact, diplomacy and negotiation skills
·         Ability to work within Centre Policies and Procedures
·         To be able to respect the Christian ethos of the YMCA and uphold its values
·         Driving License
  
Desirable:
 ·         Previous experience within a caretaker capacity
·         Current First Aid at Work Certificate
·         A working knowledge of YMCA National Centre, Lakeside or other outdoor centre
