We are looking to increase our team to support and assist in the day to day operation of the outdoor equipment stores, managing security and signing out and maintenance of equipment.  You will also support the maintenance team with general duties to maintain the Centre to a high standard.

Requirements

Essential Requirements:
 
·         The ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
·         Excellent team player and be able to work independently and on own initiative
·         Good time management
·         The ability to prioritise
·         Good communication and people skills
·         Good organisational skills
·         Attention to detail
·         Understanding the importance of the stores function within the Centre
·         To be able to respect the ethos of the YMCA and uphold its values
·         Trustworthy, flexible, reliable and conscientious
·         Ability to work within Centre Policies and Procedures
·         Full driving licence
 
 
 Desirable Requirements:
 ·        Experience of general maintenance of various outdoor equipment
·         Previous experience in a stores/equipment maintenance environment
·         Experience and qualifications in outdoor skills training
·         Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation, including COSHH and Manual Handling
