Based: Residential sites throughout the UK Salary and benefits: £250 per week plus accommodation and full board
Temporary contracts, various lengths during June, July and August 2010
Hours of Work: 42 hours per week on a shift basis

Are you a born entertainer?! Are you willing and able to lead from the front? EAC International Summer Schools organise high quality educational/multi-activity Summer Schools for teenagers from overseas aged 12-18 years old throughout the UK in the summer months of July to August. We require confident, outgoing and responsible individuals to lead tours and excursions, you will be expected to lead excursions both in the local area and further afield and act as a "tour guide" for each trip. In addition, you will be expected to partake in and lead more general activities, such as discos, talent shows, quiz nights, international evenings, treasure hunts and sports on a daily basis and therefore you must be a confident leader, willing to instruct groups of teenagers within each of these contexts.

The roles are hard work, but are very rewarding and provide the oportunity to further your experience in working with young people. We will be contacting successful applicants from April onwards.

Key Skills & Experience Requirements

  • Preferably relevant experience of working in a similar environment, although not essential as long as you have a genuine interest in working with young people from different cultural backgrounds.
· Outgoing personality · Good communication skills· Leadership skills · Motivate all students to get involved and enjoy themselves to their full potential. · You must be flexible, adaptable and prepared to muck in with all aspects of the summer school.
