Sunsail Clubs currently recruit for Club Vounaki in Greece. Sailing is like the way of life here. The resort offers something for everyone both on and off the water and is the perfect family holiday escape, especially for those looking to learn something new. Our Kid’s Clubs cater for all ages from 4 months to 17 year olds, and our shorebased activities include Tennis courts, fitness Studio and Mountain Biking.

About the role

As an Activities Assistant you will be assisting in running the Kid's Club and evening care programme. Providing care, safety and entertainment for children ranging from 5 -1 7 years. Work as a team to offer a high level of customer service at all times. In this exciting and fulfilling dual role you will be responsible for:

Ensuring the safety of all children involved in kids club activities
Carry out beach duties when not running kids activities, including rigging and de-rigging of boats and launch and recovery of all boats.
Assisting Watersports Instructors with the Kids Sailing Scheme.
Responsible for signing in and out sheets for the group you look after.
Work under supervision in the nursery with the 2 to 4 year olds when required.

Provide supervision during Video Club and evening entertainment for children.
Contribute fully to the overall running of the club, by involvement with quizzes, weekly prize giving and joining guests for evening half-board meals.
Carry out transfer day duties, such as representing the company at the airport
Carry out other duties within your ability as requested by your line manager.
You will be required to be flexible in your job role and may be required to move between different resorts or departments according to operational needs.

Requirements

Level 2 RYA sailing
First Aid certificate
Experience caring and participating in activities with 5 - 17 year olds
Minimum 1 year experience of life guarding
Knowledge of health and safety legislation
Ability to work as a reliable member of the team
Highly motivated individual
Competent swimmer
Good communication skills - oral and written
Excellent customer service skills
Suitable CRB check
