EAC Activity Camps organise high quality multi-activity Easter & Summer Camps for young people aged 5-16 years, aiming to provide an enjoyable holiday in a safe and caring environment.

We are seeking a Residential Camp Director for our activity camps. The role will be for July and August 2011. This is a position of responsibility, which is very hard work but extremely rewarding.

This is a residential position - 6 days per week - Monday to Sunday.

The Camp Director is in charge of all aspects of running the Activity Camp, including management of Activity Staff, liasing with parents and head office and dealing with outside inspectors, eg: OfSTED. The camp will cater for a small number of residential children as well as local children.

We may be able to provide accommodation at some of our centres if required.

Requirements

Candidates must:

* Be able to speak English to Native Level
* Have previous leadership/management experience, preferably within an Activity Camp or related environment.
* Have a responsible and professional attitude - sound communication skills and efficient organisational skills.
* Qualifications in relevant disciplines, such as Archery, Football and Quad-biking are highly desirable, but not essential.

Successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced CRB disclosure check. Candidates from overseas must hold a recent police check from their home country to apply.
