We are now recruiting Catering Assistants to work at Newmarket Racecourse for the main race dates throughout the year,

Fri & Sat 8th & 9th June
Fri & Sat 22nd & 23rd June
Fri & Sat 29th-30th June
Thurs-Sat 12th - 14th July
Fri & Sat 20th & 21st July
Fri & Sat 27th & 28th July
Fri & Sat 3rd & 4th August
Fri & Sat 10th & 11th August
Thurs - Sat 16th - 18th August
Fri & Sat 24th & 25th August

You will be required to work on one of our mobile catering units assisting in the preparation of some food products and serving hot and cold food and drinks to the public. The position also involves cash handling and operating a manual cash register.

Express Cafes is one of largest mobile catering companies in Europe, operating around 70 modern catering units and kiosks selling a wide range of well known food and drink products. Including Fish and Chips, Pastys, Pie and Mash and Herta Hot Dogs.

Requirements

Applicants need to be out going, smart, approachable and reliable.

Previous cashier or food service experience is preferred but not essential, as some basic on the job training can be provided.

Applicants must be resident in the UK at the time of application and be UK/EU citizens or holders of a valid UK work permit. Supporting documents (passport/birth certificate/visa/National Insurance Card) must be provided at interview stage.
