Description

Are you our next Programme and Activity Manager? Following an internal promotion we are looking to recruit a dynamic and capable person to take the lead on developing and delivering our expanding activity programmes.
This is an ideal opportunity for a self motivated individual to join a growing organisation with development opportunities.
We want applicants with experience in holiday, sports or activity centres who possess a strong working knowledge of activity leadership. You must have first hand knowledge in dealing with a wide variety of customers and be able to work in a fast paced environment. Your department will be responsible for activity programming, timetabling and the delivery of adventurous activities.
Successful applicants are required to undergo an enhanced CRB disclosure.

Requirements

As part of our senior management team, you will be qualified to NVQ level 3 or similar in Sport / Activity Leadership. You will have achieved competence and qualifications in a range of NGBs and preferably have the ability to train or assess on a range of outdoor adventure activities. With experience of managing instructors and a track record of delivering quality and safe activities you will also need to be self motivated with a strong desire to succeed. You will have good command of timetabling and the allocation of resources to maximise efficiencies and be able to work under pressure. Numerate with good understanding and use of computer application (MS word, excel, etc). 
For this position, ideally you will have gained experience at a supervisory level and you will have experience of training, developing and supervising staff. You will be adept at planning and timetabling and be flexible and adaptable to suit business needs. You will be a self starter, motivated by achievement, enthusiastic and be able to lead by example.
