Commis Chef required this summer at The Montague on the Gardens Hotel - a stunning four star deluxe property located in the heart of London’s elegant Bloomsbury.

This role would suit an individual looking for a summer job between June and September.

Key aspects of the role include preparing and serving lunch/early evening barbecue snacks on the hotel terrace, as well as assisting further members of the kitchen brigade. The terrace overlooks a stunning private garden.

Local residents, hotel guests and visitors fill the busy terrace, so the ideal candidate will be able to cope under pressure. We are searching for a show person that can communicate successfully with guests, who would enjoy working outdoors!

Requirements

You will have previous experience in a hotel or restaurant of a similar standard or have recently gained a qualification in food preparation or equivalent.

As the role involves constant guest contact, you will have great communication and organisational skills, enjoy the prospect of selling directly/upselling barbecue menu items, fully understanding food preparation guidelines and cooking temperatures.
