Description
In the space of 6 weeks in the Summer of 2012, Leisure Support Services have the opportunity to work at Wimbledon, and the chance for you to get involved in the biggest sporting summer ever.
The Wimbledon Championships will be held in June and July, and once again we will see the grounds of SW19 packed for the world’s most prestigious tennis event.
3 weeks later, the greatest sporting festival in the world is coming to Britain, and we will once again be involved to deliver a memorable experience to the millions of guests at the 2012 tennis events.

We will also be working at other 2012 venues including Earls Court, Excel, Lords, City of Coventry Stadium, and Bus and Fleet Depots. Indicate your second preferences of venue as we might offer you work at one of these venues after you finish with us at The Championships.

Other venues you are able to work at
* Excel: 28th July – 12th August
* Earls Court (Olympics): 28th July – 12th August
* Earls Court (Paralympics): 30th August – 8th September
* Lords: 27th July – 3rd August
* City of Coventry Stadium: 25th July – 9th August
* Bus and Fleet Depots: April – September 2012
Key tasks will include:
- Work under the directions of management to ensure that all required in-event administration is undertaken.
- Use of computers to generate staff lists, job sheets, personnel files, and other event based information
- Assist management in the operations of staff sign on and off & processing payroll. Assist with pre event staff administration by aiding recruitment and vetting processes, building staff rosters and assisting on training days.
- Assist supervisors and managers in event operations by acting as a communication link, operating Help Desk and providing information, logistical support, and client contact.
- To build relationships with key clients at the venue to deliver a better service to them.
- To maintain a high standard of discipline and appearance for yourself and all members of event staff.
- To have an excellent knowledge of the site to enable efficient communication with the operations team.
- To have knowledge of required reporting procedures and follow them.

The requirements of this position include:
