Description
JCA is one of the fastest growing providers of school residential and day activity centres, predominantly to primary schools. Operating a total of 13 centres across the UK, the centres provide a great value proposition to schools, and can be tailored to individual requirements.
The business has recently invested in a multi million-pound development and have successfully enhanced the existing facilities of Condover Hall. This exceptional centre and location is the flagship site to deliver an unforgettable learning experience to both students and teachers alike.
The overall purpose of the job role is to maximise customer satisfaction by providing neat and clean rooms in accordance with the standards of Condover Hall, and to provide efficient, prompt, courteous, trouble free and proactive service to guests.
Responsibilities
- Stocking cleaning cupboards and store rooms with all necessary linens, guest supplies, and cleaning equipment
- Manage damaged linen and linen returns
- Clean and service guest rooms and communal areas according to operational policies and standards

- Report any maintenance issues to Head / Deputy Housekeeping Manager
- Attends to guest needs and requests courteously and efficiently and provide information regarding Centre and facilities
- Work in a safe manner in regards to lifting, and using equipment and chemicals and were appropriate PPE
- Looks for possible and probable hazards and conditions and brings them to the attention of the appropriate person.
- Attending training requested by Head /Deputy Housekeeper Manager
- Accepts flexible work schedule when necessary and requested by Head / Deputy Housekeeper Manager
- Maintain own working areas, materials and company property clean, tidy and in good shape; reports defective materials and equipment to the Head / Deputy Manager
- Brings ideas relating to the job to the Head / Deputy Housekeeping Managers attention

Requirements
- Ability to working with children and young people
- Previous Housekeeping or cleaning experience
- Experience of working in a similar residential environment
- Team player Attention to detail
- The ability to work under own initiative
