Description
Sunsail Clubs currently recruit for Club Vounaki in Greece. Sailing is like the way of life here. The resort offers something for everyone both on and off the water and is the perfect family holiday escape, especially for those looking to learn something new. Our Kid’s Clubs cater for all ages from 4 months to 17 year olds, and our shorebased activities include Tennis courts, fitness Studio and Mountain Biking.
About the role
Our season has now started but do not worry – you have not missed out! We are still recruiting for our stand-by list. What this means is, should you be successful at one of our assessment days then we would be able to offer you a position to join the rest of our team in Greece, if a position becomes available. This role will require you to travel at short notice so please do not apply for this position if you cannot travel within 1 week.
- To provide excellent service at the bar, in the restaurant and pool area
- To carry out bar work and waiter/waitress responsibilities
- Serve drink within the terms of the liquor licence
- Promote special offers and events.
- Create an atmosphere, which encourages guests to use the bar to a maximum.
- Handling of cash and use of the cash register to provide accurate till readings.
- Keeping wastage to a minimum and charging correct prices to achieve budgeted profit levels.
- Stocking of the bar from the cellar, so ensuring that the full range of products is on offer.
- The cleaning of the bar, terrace.
- To include washing and polishing tables and other surfaces, weeping and mopping of floors, cleaning windows.
- Organise cellar/store rooms.
- Carry out accurate stock counts
- Provide supervision during Video Club and evening entertainment for children.
- Carryout baby-sitting and evening care duties.
- Contribute fully to the overall running of the club, by involvement with quizzes, weekly prize giving and joining guests for evening half-board meals. • Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Carry out transfer day duties, such as representing the company at the airport
- Carry out other duties within your ability as requested by your line manager.
- You will be required to be flexible in your job role and may be required to move between different resorts or departments according to operational needs
