CAE offers residential summer courses for international children and teenagers aged 8 to 17 years. We operate an integrated programme of language classes, afternoon activities, evening entertainment and visits, tailored to the needs of the different age groups.

All staff are residential and contribute to the academic, social and pastoral wellbeing of the students. All staff are involved on the excursion programme and assist with airport transfers. All staff receive a full Staff induction and to contribute to the feedback systems that CAE has in place.

The Course Director leads the Senior Staff team responsible for student and staff welfare and the effective delivery of the CAE residential summer courses. The Course Director is responsible for staff management, student welfare, course budgets, public relations and liaison with the Host School.

The Director of Studies is a key member of the Senior Staff team and is responsible for the academic and pastoral needs of the students on the course.

The Director of Student Services is a key member of the Senior Staff team and is responsible for the successful delivery of the afternoon and evening activity programme as well as excursions and airport transfers.

These are management positions requiring the skills of a highly organised, practical, flexible and responsible team player capable of creating and maintaining good rapport. The Senior Staff team is instrumental in creating a happy and hardworking atmosphere for staff and students.

The Course Director and the Director of Student Services must have proven experience of working with children in a residential environment.
Excellent leadership, administrative, team management and IT skills are essential.

The Director of Studies must be TEFLQ (DELTA or equivalent) and have proven experience of working with children in a residential setting.

Current First Aid;  Driving Qualifications; admin and management experience are an advantage.
